Bylined articles placed with editors who can reject them, written from an interview with your own named expert.
About this service
Six to nine weeks from brief to live URL, and roughly one pitch in three gets commissioned. That is the real rhythm of contributed editorial in trade press. A shop quoting you a fortnight and a fixed number of placements is publishing somewhere nobody edits, and you are buying a URL rather than a reader.
We place bylined articles with publications that keep a named commissioning editor able to say no: Computer Weekly, The Register, InfoQ, The New Stack, Finextra, AltFi, Sifted, FinTech Futures, and the practitioner blogs engineers forward to each other in Slack. The byline belongs to someone on your payroll. A VP of Engineering, a Head of Financial Crime, a founder. Never a persona, never our writer wearing your logo.
How the piece gets made:
A 45-minute recorded interview with the named author, because the argument has to come from them and editors can tell when it did not. We draft, the author edits, then the piece goes out with a pitch written for that publication's reader rather than a template. If the editor wants the structure changed, we change it. If the editor kills it, we take the argument to an equivalent outlet rather than dropping to a worse one.
Links, handled honestly:
One contextual link per article, normally to documentation, a methodology page or an original data page rather than a commercial landing page, because that is the link that survives copy edit. Where a publication labels contributed work as sponsored and applies nofollow, we tell you before you commission it and price it as a media placement rather than a link. You decide with that on the table.
What we will not do:
We do not buy from sites with a public write-for-us rate card, and we do not price by Ahrefs DR. The author archive of a site tells you more in two minutes than a domain metric does, and a publication whose last thirty posts are all agency-contributed is not a publication. We do not write a byline for an executive who will not sit for the interview. No link exchanges, no second link slipped in for another client, no asking an editor to drop the disclosure they added.
Who this is not for:
Companies with nobody in house willing to put their name to a claim they can be challenged on in the comments. Teams whose only story this quarter is the funding round. Anyone whose brief is a placement count per month, which is a purchasing exercise and has cheaper vendors than us.
What we need from you:
Author time is the constraint, not our capacity. One interview per article, one round of author edits inside three working days, and a named person who can approve a product claim without a legal round trip. Programmes stall on legal review far more often than on editors.
What arrives:
Live URLs, the referring page's own organic traffic measured 90 days after publication, referral sessions isolated in GA4, indexation confirmed through the URL Inspection API, and Search Console movement on the target URL. If a placement never indexes, we say so and it does not count toward anything.
