One pitch in three or four is accepted, and a placement runs six to eleven weeks from brief to live URL. A quarter of work with us usually ends with three to five articles published under a byline from your own team. If the number you need this quarter is twenty, stop here: that number is only available from resellers, and it is the same inventory your competitors bought last month. How we pick a publication: We start from the results your buyers already see and the newsletters your customers forward internally. A publication qualifies when it has an editor with a name, a publishing schedule that predates any interest in selling links, and organic traffic that survives a look at its top pages. We check outbound external link velocity across the last forty posts. A site that has started adding three or four dofollow links to unrelated commercial pages in every article has changed business, whatever its DR still says. We read the disclosure page too. A publication that discloses sponsored content honestly is safer than one pretending it has none. Who writes it: We do, from a sixty-minute recorded interview with someone on your side who has actually done the thing: an engineer, a risk lead, a founder. The byline is theirs. We do not write generic thought pieces about the category, because editors at the publications worth being in reject them, and because the piece has to still be worth reading in two years, when it is still the thing linking to you. The link: One contextual link, placed where the argument needs a citation, usually to documentation, a data page or a research post rather than to a homepage or a pricing page. Anchor text is whatever reads naturally in the sentence. We do not hand an editor an anchor requirement, and an editor who accepts one is an editor selling links. What arrives each month: Pitch angles with the publication and the editor named, drafts for your review before they go out, the live URL, and a short note on why a piece was accepted or turned down. Rejections come to you with the editor's reply attached. What is not included: We do not buy placements. Where a publication quotes a fee we pass the quote to you unedited and say what we think it is worth; we will not pay a fee and then report the link as earned. No private blog networks, no domains bought from a broker, no outlets that will publish anything inside 48 hours. Working with your legal and comms teams: For fintech clients, every draft goes through your compliance review before it reaches an editor, and we build that round into the schedule rather than treating it as a delay. We have withdrawn pitches after review rather than argue a claim through. Who this is not for: Companies with nobody in-house available for an hour a month. Companies in a market where the trade press has already been bought out and everything remaining is a listings page dressed as a magazine; we will say so on the first call, and we have declined work on exactly that basis.
