Link insertions written as page updates, placed only in host pages that still rank and whose publishers actually revise their archive.

About this service

We turn down around seven in ten host pages clients bring us, and the reason is nearly always one of two: the page gets no organic traffic in the language of the market you sell into, or the sentence we would have to add is the only one on that page nobody was waiting for. The test a host page has to pass: It ranks for queries a buyer would type, not only for its own title. It receives clicks, measured in the market's language rather than as a global total. Its publisher has edited it since publication — we read the page's history in the Wayback Machine, because a publisher who has never revised a URL will either refuse your revision or quietly revert it in six weeks. And it is not already carrying five commercial outbound links, in which case yours is the sixth and worth what the sixth is worth. What we actually send a publisher: A rewritten passage, not a link request. Usually 90 to 200 words that update something the page got wrong or has outgrown — a rule that changed, a figure from a later year, a market that opened. The link sits inside the passage because the passage needs it. We ask the publisher to move the visible date and the dateModified value in the page's schema, and we check that both moved. Where insertions decay, and what we do: Two things kill them: a publisher refresh that rewrites the section wholesale, and a change of ownership at the title. We re-check every insertion at 30 days, 90 days and six months. Where a passage has been rewritten we go back once and rebuild it. Beyond that we tell you it is gone rather than quietly keeping it in a report. What we decline: Insertions into best-of and bonus listicles, whatever their traffic. Insertions into pages published before your company or product existed, where the passage is an anachronism any reader can date. Domains bought at auction and rebuilt on somebody else's archived content — common in crypto, and visible in the archive inside ten minutes. And anything routed through an intermediary who will not name the site before payment. Anchor and placement: We write the sentence. You give the target URL and the semantic direction. An exact-match anchor dropped into a retrofitted passage is the most legible pattern in this whole category, and we will not put one into a page that has sat untouched for four years. Who this is not for: Anyone who wants a monthly quantity of insertions. Anyone whose target is a commercial landing page with no reason to be cited — an insertion cannot make a page worth referencing, and we will say that at the audit stage rather than after spending your budget. Unlicensed operators, in any market. How we price: By the difficulty of the publisher, not by the metrics of the domain. A trade title whose editor reads the change and asks two questions costs more of our time than a site with a rate card, and produces something still standing next year. What you get in writing: For each placement: the host URL, the passage as published, the date evidence, and a short note on why that page and not another. For every page we rejected, the same note in reverse. Clients tell us the rejection list is the more useful half, because it stops the same suggestions arriving from three other vendors next quarter.
