Deals anchored to signed contracts rather than rate cards, with payment terms, tax treatment and a make-good clause written in before signature.

About this service

An opening quote from a Gulf creator commonly sits 40 to 70 per cent above what the same creator signed for in the previous ninety days. I know because I keep the deals. Every offer I put forward is anchored to a book of signed contracts across the UAE and Saudi over the past two years, and the number I give a creator is the number, not a position to be halved. What gets priced, and separately: Content fee, usage rights, exclusivity, and paid amplification permission are four lines, never one. A blended fee is how brands pay for rights twice, or believe they hold rights they never bought. The content fee is anchored on cost per delivered view; the other three are priced against the term you will actually use, which is usually shorter than your template asks for. Rate cards get read and then set aside. A rate card is a document written for buyers who have no comparison set. Terms most briefs forget: Live period. A post removed after 72 hours is a story and is paid as one. The contract names the date it may come down. Make-good. If delivered views land below 70 per cent of the median used to price the deal, the creator posts an agreed additional story set within 14 days. Written in before signature, because after the fact it is a favour you are asking for, and the creator has already been paid. Approval rounds. Two rounds, named reviewers, 48 hours each. Open-ended approvals are how a campaign misses Ramadan by a week. Payment structure. Fifty per cent on signature, fifty within 14 days of the final post going live and staying live for the agreed period. Requests for the full fee upfront get a counter rather than a refusal; three creators last year had good reason and were paid in full in advance. Invoicing and tax. UAE VAT registration is mandatory above AED 375,000 of taxable supplies, so creators below that threshold cannot charge you five per cent, and some do anyway. Payments to non-resident creators from Saudi entities carry withholding, and the contract states who bears it before your finance team discovers the gap. How outreach actually runs: Around twenty approaches per engagement, not a mail merge. First message in Arabic to Arabic-first creators, from a named person, with the fee band stated in that first message. Creators reply to numbers. Where a creator has representation I ask for the agency's trade licence, because a meaningful share of Gulf managers are a relative with a Gmail address, and I do not negotiate around a legitimate agent. What I will not do: Take a percentage of spend. It pays me to pay them more. Accept barter, product-only or affiliate-only deals for regulated products. Trade a lower fee for wider rights, which is the oldest move in this market and the reason so many creators now refuse rights entirely. Quote a competing brand's fee to force a discount without the creator's knowledge; the region is small and the relationship is worth more than the discount. Who this is not for: Brands with one creator chosen and terms already agreed, where I would be charging you to read a PDF. Programmes under roughly thirty thousand dollars in creator fees, where my fee consumes the saving. Say so and I will point you to a template instead. What you receive: A benchmark per creator, the full negotiation log including what was refused, a signed deal memo covering the eight commercial terms, and a hand-off sheet for whoever runs delivery.

What the seller needs from you

  1. 1Which creators, with handles, and what has each already quoted?
  2. 2What will the content be used for beyond the creator's own feed?
  3. 3Who signs, and what is your standard payment term?
  4. 4Is there a hard campaign date?

Asked at checkout. Delivery time starts once you answer, not when you pay.
