Outbrain built around newspaper section-level supply for property launches sold into and out of Italy, with Onyx bought only against a measurement design.

About this service

What this seat buys that the other one does not: On the Italian accounts where we run both networks, Outbrain delivers around a third of the impressions at 1.4 to 2.1 times the cost per click, and sessions roughly twice as long. That is a difference in supply, not loyalty to a vendor: the Italian footprint here sits heavier on newspaper and magazine article pages and lighter on the aggregator tail, and reading behaviour follows the page it happens on. For a nine hundred thousand euro apartment in a development that has not broken ground, the second-cheapest click is usually the right one. This engagement is shaped around property and around cross-border demand. About half the work we do on this seat is Italian stock sold to buyers outside Italy: a Puglia resort development to British and German readers, a Milan build-to-rent block to institutional interest, a lakeside restoration to Swiss and Dutch audiences. That changes the account structure. Separate campaigns per language and per country, separate approval chains, and a unit and currency convention in the article that does not make a German reader do arithmetic in their head. Structure and bidding: Campaigns split by platform and by publisher section rather than by site alone. Section-level exclusion is the difference between the motoring pages and the crime pages of the same newspaper, and on news supply that gap is worth more than any audience segment on offer. We open semi-automatic with a manual floor, then move to target CPA once a campaign has cleared thirty conversions in a fortnight. Fully automated bidding goes on only when the conversion feed is server-side, because a browser pixel sitting behind an Italian consent banner under-reports enough to teach the algorithm the wrong lesson. Onyx: Onyx inventory gets bought when there is a launch moment and a measurement design, and not otherwise. A high-impact format with no holdout and no brand study is a line item you cannot defend in the next budget meeting, and we would rather you put it into Amplify. Since the Teads acquisition closed, the same seat also reaches outstream video, which we use where the product is a place rather than a floor plan. The form and the sales team behind it: Property leads are worth nothing until somebody calls them, so the form is designed to your agents' capacity rather than to a volume target. Fewer fields, a calendar slot, and one qualifying question the agent actually uses in the call. The article states the APE class, the completion window and the price band, because a lead that arrives not knowing the price is a lead the agent burns twenty minutes disqualifying. Reporting: One document a month, in English or Italian, with spend by section, post-click behaviour, lead disposition from your CRM where we have access, and a plain statement of what we got wrong. There is no live dashboard. Dashboards get watched daily and this channel does not move daily. Out of scope: No brochure films, renders or show-flat photography. No app install campaigns. And we do not continue buying without sight of your sales team's disposition data at least monthly. If leads disappear into a black box, we cannot bid on quality and neither can the platform. Not for you if: You are launching in under three weeks. Section-level learning takes longer than that, and an engagement that begins with a deadline we cannot meet ends badly for both parties.

What the seller needs from you

  1. 1What is the development, its price band, completion window and APE class?
  2. 2Which countries and languages are you selling into, and who approves creative in each?
  3. 3How many leads a week can your sales team actually call within 24 hours?
  4. 4Can we see lead disposition from your CRM, monthly at minimum?

Asked at checkout. Delivery time starts once you answer, not when you pay.
