Outbrain distribution for editorial you already own
Native and Content Advertising · Outbrain campaign build and management
Outbrain run as distribution for editorial you own, priced on reader depth and return visits rather than last-click form fills.
About this service
An Outbrain click is a reading click. The person was finishing an article and chose another one; they did not raise a hand. Sending that click to a pricing page and judging it on last-click conversion is how this channel gets cancelled in month two. We run it as distribution for editorial you already own and judge a placement on whether readers finish the piece and come back: past roughly sixty per cent scroll depth, plus a return visit inside thirty days. The conversion is counted afterwards, from the audience the reading built.
What we need before we start:
Two or three pieces of writing worth a stranger's eight minutes. Not a gated whitepaper, not a product page with a byline attached. A piece that takes a position someone in your category could argue with. If you do not have that, this engagement is premature and we will say so on the first call rather than spend two months proving it to you at your expense.
How the account is built:
One campaign per article, never per persona. The auction responds to the creative and the destination, not to your segmentation, and splitting by persona only starves each campaign of the data it needs. Conversion Bid Strategy runs against a target cost per reader event once that event is stable enough to bid against. Bid multipliers are set at section level rather than only at publisher level, because the business section of a national title and its lifestyle section behave like two different websites and Amplify will let you price them that way. Where a brief needs supply Amplify's own inventory does not reach, we use Zemanta and tell you which line of the spend went there.
Poland, specifically:
Native supply here concentrates on a small number of large portals and their satellites, which means a campaign left alone will put seventy per cent of its budget in one place within a week and read that as a signal. It is not a signal, it is availability. We cap concentration deliberately and we run Polish creative written in Polish rather than translated. A headline translated from English announces itself as an advertisement to a Polish reader within about four words.
What we do with the audience:
The reading is the asset. Readers past the scroll threshold go into a pixel-built segment, and that segment is where conversion work happens: through your own email, your brand search terms, and a suppression list so you stop paying twice for the same person. Anyone can spend the budget. The decision worth paying for is which article goes behind the spend, and when to stop.
If your brief is a form fill on a cold click, say so and we will point you at our Taboola engagement instead, where the build and the measurement are designed for that. We would rather lose the brief than run this one badly.
Not included:
We do not write the articles. We do not run your search, social or email, though we will tell you when the segment we built is being wasted by whoever does. No rebate, no commission from the network, and the account stays in your name with your billing.
Who this is not for:
Companies whose content exists to be gated. Teams reporting on last-click only and unable to change that inside the engagement. And any brief needing a result within a month. The reading-to-revenue lag here runs six to twelve weeks, and pretending otherwise is how a channel gets blamed for the calendar.
