Nordic group strategy for banks and insurers: where to participate, what to own, and moderation with a written route into your complaints process.

About this service

In the Nordics, the people deciding about pensions, mortgage terms and household insurance are mostly between 45 and 65, and that cohort still opens Facebook groups daily while the rest of your media plan has moved to channels they never touch. That is the whole case for this work and the only one worth making. You are not there for reach. You are there because a specific, valuable, badly served audience discusses money there every day, in Swedish, without you. The first decision is whether you belong in a group you own or in groups you do not. Usually both, weighted differently than most clients expect. Where the audience actually is: We inventory the Swedish, Norwegian and Danish groups where your category is discussed already, from private economy and FIRE groups to homeowner, small-business and pensioner groups, and read each one's pinned rules on brand participation. Most forbid vendor posts outright while permitting an identified employee answering a direct question. That distinction is the entire strategy in borrowed rooms: your named person, employer disclosed inside the comment itself, never a top-level post. Your own group earns its existence only if it answers what a general group cannot: your claims process, your fee changes, your product mechanics. A group duplicating a general personal finance group loses to the general one, which has forty thousand members and no commercial interest. Running it: Membership questions that genuinely filter, with Admin Assist declining accounts below a set age and flagging posts carrying the phrases that precede a scam, including guaranteed return, free advice and any offer to continue in private. Anonymous posting switched off. In an insurance group it reads as an invitation to publish claim details, after which you hold personal data you did not ask for, cannot verify and must now handle. A moderator who speaks the language natively, in hours, with a written escalation into your regulated complaints process. A question about pension withdrawal timing answered casually in a comment thread is a compliance event, not a service moment. Ours are answered with a routing sentence and a link, every time, and that sentence is agreed with your compliance function before the group opens. Group Insights read monthly for one thing above all: whether posts come from members or from us. A group where the admin writes most of the posts is a newsletter with worse reach and more risk. What we refuse: Buying, or accepting the transfer of, admin rights to an established group. It is offered constantly in this market. Those members joined something else, they did not consent to you, and it ends in an exodus and a screenshot thread. Deleting critical posts. We remove abuse, personal data and spam against a published rule and answer the rest. The moderation log stays available to you. Seeded testimonials, staff posting as customers, incentivised member posts in any form. Groups used to work around ad policy. Meta's rules on financial products apply to your advertising regardless of what happens in the group, and treating one as a route around the other is how ad accounts get restricted. Not for you if: You want growth to a member number. We will not commit to one, because the mechanisms that reliably hit member numbers are the four we just refused. Your complaints process cannot respond to a public post within one working day. In a group you own, silence underneath a complaint is the screenshot that travels. You have nothing to say between campaigns. A group is a standing obligation, and the quiet months are when it is judged.
