Named-moderator operation of a studio's Facebook group, run to a 60 percent member-authored post share and handed over with the operating document.

About this service

Meta closed the Groups API in April 2024. Every number in this work now comes out of Group Insights by hand and every moderation action is a person clicking, so we staff it that way: one named community manager on your group, four moderation passes a day, and a target of 60 percent member-authored posts by day 90. Below 60 percent you do not have a community, you have a broadcast page with a comment box, and Meta's feed ranks it like one. The first thirty days: We rewrite the membership questions before anything else, because that one screen decides who you will be moderating for the next year. Three questions, one of them free text and impossible to answer with a paste, which by itself takes giveaway farmers close to zero. Then Admin Assist: auto-decline on accounts under sixty days old, keyword holds on the terms your category attracts, post approval left on for members with no comment history. The rules post gets rewritten in your studio's voice and pinned, and whatever badge scheme was inherited gets retired, because Conversation Starter handed to the wrong six people sets the tone for a year. Moderation, in detail: Four windows a day at roughly 8am, noon, 5pm and 10pm in your largest player timezone. First reply to a member post inside four hours during a release week, inside a day otherwise. The escalation path is written down before we start: what a moderator settles alone, what goes to your producer, what goes to legal, and what gets a screenshot and a ban with no reply at all. The queue is worked inside the group, because there is no dashboard to work it from. Numbers we report: Member-authored share of posts. Thirty-day retention, counted as a new member who posted or reacted at least once. Comments per active member per week. Moderator first-response time. Declined-membership reasons, so you can see who your own questions are keeping out and argue with us about it. Headcount is in there too, at the bottom, because you will ask for it. We turn down: Token projects and NFT-backed game economies. Meta's group and advertising policies are hostile to both and we are not spending your budget learning that a second time. Member purchasing of any kind. Growth driven by a giveaway, which churns inside a month and leaves you moderating the residue. And running the group behind an invented persona: the community manager's real name and face sit on the profile or we do not take the engagement. Outside scope: Paid social buying, creator sponsorships, access to your Meta ad account, Messenger bot flows, and any language other than English. If a Brazil launch needs a Portuguese group, we will help you interview a local hire and give them the operating document. We will not pretend to run it from here. What you keep: The operating document: rules text, Admin Assist configuration, the escalation ladder, the ban criteria, the posting calendar, and the moderator brief. It is written so that a person you hire can take the group from us without a transition call. That is the intended end of this engagement, not a failure of it. Not for you if: You want the group to be an announcement channel. That is a Page, it costs less, and it works. Also not for you if your players already live on Discord and are content there. Moving them costs more than it returns and we will say so in the first call.

What the seller needs from you

  1. 1Link to the existing group, or state that this is a new build, and give us admin access for the audit.
  2. 2Which of your own people will post under their own names, and how often can they realistically do it?
  3. 3What is on the release calendar for the next six months?
  4. 4What has been tried already, including anything you would rather not repeat?

Asked at checkout. Delivery time starts once you answer, not when you pay.
