Retail Media and Marketplace Ads · Listing and A+ content optimization for ad quality

We rebuild Japanese detail pages and A+ so the clicks you already pay for stop landing on ASINs that cannot convert or cannot serve.

About this service

A Sponsored Products click on Amazon.co.jp costs you the same whether the page converts at 4 percent or 11 percent. In the accounts we inherit, the spread in unit session percentage between the best and the worst ASIN inside one brand family is usually wider than the spread between the best and worst campaign, and only the campaigns are getting worked on. This engagement works on the page. Where we start: Ad serving is downstream of the Featured Offer. An ASIN that loses it stops serving Sponsored Products at all, so the first pass is an eligibility sweep: Featured Offer win rate by ASIN, suppressed and stranded listings, variation families split apart by an old catalogue edit, and claim language that quietly disqualifies Sponsored Brands creative. We have opened accounts where roughly nine percent of the monthly budget sat on ASINs that could not serve, and nobody had looked because the campaigns still reported. Japanese search, written three ways: The same shopper types 犬用おやつ, ドッグフード and a romaji spelling, and Amazon.co.jp does not fold those into one query. We build the keyword map per script from Brand Analytics Search Query Performance rather than from a translated English seed list, then place it. The backend search term field is capped at 250 bytes per ASIN, and a full-width Japanese character spends three of them, so the field holds a fraction of what the English-language playbooks assume and every duplicated word is a real cost. Half-width katakana and stray full-width alphanumerics get normalised because they lose matches. Copy and category rules: Japanese copy is written by a Japanese copywriter who has sold something, then read against 景品表示法 for superlatives with no documented basis. Pet food and treats are checked against ペットフード安全法 labelling; pet supplements have anything reading as an 効能効果 claim removed before it reaches an ad review queue. Developer hardware and software SKUs carry license terms, seat count, supported OS versions and 日本語対応 status in the first bullet, because that is what the return reasons say people got wrong. Images and A+: The first three images carry the argument and the thumbnail is judged at about 200 pixels inside the app. We storyboard the stack and write the shot list for your photographer. A+ modules answer the specific objection visible in your returns and customer questions, and the comparison module is built to hold a shopper inside your own family instead of handing them the compare-with-similar grid. What is not included: Photography, video and 3D rendering. Translation of a full catalogue. Rakuten shop HTML and Yahoo! store pages, which are a separate build with separate constraints. Review solicitation of any kind, including Vine sequencing timed to a launch. Who this is not for: Resellers without Brand Registry. Brands whose Japanese distributor holds listing edit rights and will not release them. Anyone who wants existing machine-translated copy improved rather than replaced, because the sentence order in a translated bullet is an English sentence order and no amount of editing fixes what it does to a Japanese reader. How we prove it: Spend is held flat for 21 days after publication. Changed ASINs are read on unit session percentage against an unchanged control set from the same family over the same window, so event traffic and seasonality hit both sides. If the control moves with the test, we report that the change did nothing. That has happened twice, and it is a better outcome than a story told over a falling ACoS chart.
