One named spokesperson, answered queries on Qwoted and Featured, and a maintained French desk list. Every response on record, pickups reported honestly.
About this service
Connectively, the platform HARO turned into, shut down in December 2024. What replaced it is not one queue but several: Qwoted, Featured, SourceBottle, Help a B2B Writer, the journorequest streams on Bluesky and X, and in France no queue at all, because French desks do not use query platforms. They use a phone and a contact they already trust.
What we run:
One named spokesperson from your company. Not a persona, not a job title, a person with a diary. We answer between eight and fourteen queries a week out of the several hundred that arrive, and the filter is whether that person has actually done the thing being asked about. Across 2025 we sent 214 responses for hospitality clients and 31 were used. That ratio is the job. A shop quoting you a better one is either counting syndication copies or writing quotes nobody said.
Speed, and the approval rule:
Most usable queries close within about three hours of posting, and deadlines are set in US Eastern time, which for a French spokesperson means the window opens mid-afternoon. We watch the feeds during that window, draft inside it, and send under a standing rule agreed once with you: what the spokesperson may say without a second review, and what always comes back for sign-off. Without that rule you lose every fast query to an approval chain, and the fast queries are the ones that get used.
The French half:
There is no equivalent queue, so this is a maintained desk list. Who covers hotel investment, who covers residential transaction volumes, who covers retail interiors, and what each of them filed last quarter. Pitches go on the news hook, not on a schedule. We cultivate around thirty desks properly rather than mailing three hundred, because in a press corps this size a bad pitch is remembered for years and it is remembered against your client, not against us.
What we will not do:
Write a quote and attribute it to someone who did not say it. Answer a query outside the spokesperson's experience because the outlet is attractive. Respond to content mills that resell one roundup to a dozen domains. Promise a link, because the reporter decides and sometimes the link goes to nobody at all.
How delivery is measured:
The unit is a sent, approved response, on record with the query text, the outlet, the deadline and the timestamp. You can read every response sent in your name. Pickups are reported with the URL, the publication date and whether the mention carried a link or your name only. A name-only mention in the right title is worth having, and we would rather count it honestly than fold it into a link total.
The quote bank:
At the top tier we record two sessions with your spokesperson and build standing answers to the twenty questions their beat asks every year. It brings most responses under fifteen minutes and it stays yours whether or not you continue with us. It is also the only part of this service that survives the next platform closing, which is the reason it exists.
Who this is not for:
Companies that cannot name a spokesperson, or that need every sentence through legal. Anyone whose target is a fixed number of links a month: this channel does not produce one, and the agencies that pretend otherwise are the reason invented experts exist. And anyone hoping to be quoted on a subject their own people have not worked in, which reporters catch more often than you would expect.
