Pinterest catalogue rebuild, server-side conversion signal and managed buying for pet and home brands, judged on a 30-day engaged window.
About this service
Pinterest pays back late:
Across the pet and home catalogues we run, the median gap between a Product Pin save and the order that follows it is 34 days, and roughly a fifth of tracked revenue lands after day 60. Judged on a seven-day click window the channel looks dead by week three, which is exactly when the budget gets pulled. So the first thing we agree, in writing and with the person who signs the report, is which window this channel is measured on. If the answer has to be last click at seven days, buy something else. We say that before we quote, not after.
The catalogue is the campaign:
Most of the work sits in the feed, not the campaign editor. We rebuild product groups around margin and repeat rate rather than the site's category tree, because the buyer who saves a fourteen euro chew toy and the one who saves an eighty euro orthopaedic bed should not carry the same bid. We correct the fields Pinterest actually reads: title, google_product_category, product_type, and the custom labels that carry your margin bands. We collapse variants that compete with each other in the same grid, and fix out-of-stock handling so the system stops relearning after every restock. Domain claim, merchant verification and feed scheduling are part of that work, not a separate line item.
Measurement you keep:
Pinterest tag and the Conversions API, running server-side through a container you own, deduplicated on event_id. Reporting runs on the 30-day engaged window against a matched-market holdout: two Turkish regions, or a paired Germany and United States split, depending where the volume sits. Platform-reported ROAS goes in the appendix. When Pinterest next changes its default attribution, and it will, your trend line does not move.
Creative direction:
A Pin is decided at thumbnail size in a moving grid, so the argument is about crop, product-to-background ratio, and the first three words of any overlay. We write the brief and direct the shoot. We are not a photo studio and do not pretend to be one. Seasonal work begins about four months ahead, because Pinterest search for a season peaks before the season arrives. A Christmas plan started in November is a plan for next year.
What is not included:
No organic pinning calendar, no follower growth, no monthly quota of Idea Pins made to fill a content slot, no influencer pins. We do not administer your Shopify or Ticimax storefront, though we will specify precisely what the feed needs from it. Photography is yours or your studio's. The shot list is ours.
Who should not buy this:
Brands with an average order value under about twenty-five euro and a payback rule inside two weeks. The arithmetic does not work and account management will not rescue it. Recruitment advertisers: we run hiring campaigns, but not here. Somebody about to change jobs is not in a saving mood, and we would rather lose the retainer than bill you for that lesson. Anyone who needs a verdict in month one should also pass. The first number we trust arrives at the end of month three.
How it runs:
A written note weekly, a call monthly, and one shared log where every test and every decision is dated and signed. You hold the ad account, the catalogue and the server container throughout. We work inside your assets, never ours, so the day you stop paying us, nothing switches off.
