A quarterly link programme with a target map instead of a monthly quota, run inside your tools and handed to your team by month twelve.

About this service

A quarter of programme management is 25,000 euros for the scope most clients take, and what it buys is a decision about which twelve pages on your site are worth links at all, followed by the publishing and pitching work to get them there. It does not buy a number of links per month, and I will not sign a contract that contains one. The quota is the mechanism that turns every link programme into a directory-and-forum programme by month four: the number has to be hit, and the number is always easier to hit with rubbish. The first two weeks produce a target map: Every URL that could take a link, ranked by the revenue behind the query it serves and by the distance between today's position and the position where clicks start. For B2B SaaS that is usually one category page, three comparison pages and the documentation entry point buyers actually land on. Never the homepage, which already has more links than it can use, and never the blog index. Months one to three, two tracks running together: The first track is material only your company can source. The anonymised numbers out of your own product, the benchmark nobody outside can compute, the incident postmortem your CTO will sign. The second is placement of that material: pitches to named editors, briefings to the analysts covering your category in Spain and the UK, profiles on the two or three review platforms in your space that pass real referral traffic, and the partner and integration pages that already exist inside contracts you have signed and that nobody at your company has ever claimed. That last one is dull and it is the highest-yield item in this document. What the programme refuses: No quota. No guest post inventory bought from vendors and resold to you at a markup. No anchor text ratios engineered toward a target distribution; anchor text follows the sentence, and the profiles that read as engineered are exactly the ones that were engineered to look natural. No link exchanges, including three-way. No report with Domain Rating as its headline number. And no ranking guarantee, because the largest variable is your own product page and I do not control it. What I need from your side: One person with publishing rights on the site. One subject matter expert for two hours a fortnight. Legal or compliance in the loop from week one if you are regulated, since in fintech the piece that dies is the one written before compliance saw the claim. I work inside your tools, a shared board in Notion or Linear, read access to Search Console and GA4, and one call a fortnight rather than a weekly status meeting. When to stop paying me: At the point your own team sources the material and the pitching is repeatable, which for most clients lands between month nine and month fourteen. I will say so when I think you are there, hand over the target map, the contact history and the pitch archive, and drop to a review engagement. A programme still fully outsourced at month thirty is a programme that taught nobody anything. Who this is not for: Companies that want links pointed at pages they have not decided to keep. Marketplaces and consumer ecommerce, where the mechanics are different and I am not the right person. Teams looking for a supplier to manage rather than a specialist to argue with, because most of the value here arrives in the argument about which pages deserve the links.
