About this service

We do not pay for an in-game impression the seller counted for itself. Every flight we place through Anzu, Bidstack, Frameplay or Adverty carries a DoubleVerify or IAS in-game tag, and the insertion order sets a viewable-through-rate floor of 55 percent, below which the flight is repriced in cash rather than made good in extra inventory. On a first flight, roughly a third of the titles in a vendor's own recommended set come in under that floor and get cut in week two. That single mechanic is most of what this engagement is. Why the floor sits there: The measurement guidance for intrinsic placements asks whether a surface was on screen at a size, angle and duration at which a player could actually have read it. A rendered surface is not a seen one: a billboard four metres behind the camera for six seconds is a served impression in the vendor's log and nothing at all in the player's memory. The gap between served and viewable decides whether intrinsic in-game is a real channel for your brand or an expensive way to say you did something in gaming. What the work is: Title-level selection rather than genre-level. Vendors sell packages by genre because it is easier to fill; we take the title list apart and buy the twenty or so that clear the floor. Camera-path review: we play the build, or watch capture at the resolutions your audience actually plays at, and reject surfaces the camera never holds. Frequency managed per session rather than per day, because a session is the unit a player experiences and a daily cap on a four-hour session is not a cap. Creative sized to the surface's real pixel footprint at the distance the camera holds, not to the vendor's template, and legibility-checked at 720p, because a large share of Southeast Asian inventory renders on mid and low-end Android where textures are drawn down. Southeast Asia: Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam carry the volume, and that inventory is mobile-first, with different device rendering and different session shapes to the console and PC inventory the vendors' case studies are usually built on. We buy the region directly and we do not extrapolate a US benchmark onto it. Measurement: Verification tags on every impression, reported into your own warehouse alongside the vendor's numbers so the two can be compared rather than reconciled after the invoice. Brand lift only with a holdout inside the same title: exposed against unexposed players in the same game, never a general population panel. A lift study without that control group is not a study and we will not run one. Not included: We do not run rewarded video, playables or interstitials. Those are a different channel with different vendors and different economics, and folding them into one in-game report is how in-game reporting becomes flattering. We do not resell inventory: media is bought in your name, on your own contract with the vendor, at the vendor's rate, and our fee is separate on the statement of work. We take no rebate from any vendor on this list and will confirm that in writing. Who this is not for: Brands measuring this on clicks. Intrinsic surfaces are not clickable in most implementations, and pretending otherwise misprices the entire channel. Titles with a meaningfully under-13 audience: we do not place there, including where a vendor certifies the inventory as compliant. And brands who want the campaign for the announcement — the announcement does not require the floor, and you can buy it more cheaply elsewhere.
