About this service

A sponsored post from a named executive is the same media buy as a company-page ad with one difference that decides everything: the comments land on a person, and that person has to answer them. We ask for a recorded 45-minute interview each month and a two-working-day reply window on comments. Executives who cannot commit to both should not run this, and we say so before quoting rather than after. Where the material comes from: We do not take a brief and write in someone's voice. Once a month we record a call with the executive, usually about a live argument they are having with customers: a spec decision, a pricing fight, a lead-time problem, a warranty claim they lost. The transcript produces three to five posts. Their sentences survive; ours mostly do not. Anything we cannot trace back to something they actually said is cut before it reaches them for approval. Formats we put spend behind: Text posts of roughly 900 to 1,300 characters with no outbound link. Document posts built from a real internal artefact, such as a tolerance chart, a landed-cost comparison or a returns breakdown with the customer names removed. Video under 60 seconds shot on a phone in the plant or the warehouse. Studio-lit video from a personal profile reads as an ad and loses the only advantage the format has. The account plumbing: Promotion of a member's post runs through Campaign Manager and requires that member to accept a permission request tied to your page, which has to be re-issued when it lapses or when they change their settings. We handle the request, the organic-first posting sequence, UTM discipline on any link, and a campaign structure that keeps profile ads in their own campaign group so they are never blended into page-ad reporting. Comments: This is where most of it fails. We draft replies for the executive to edit and send from their own account. We never post as them. A hostile comment from a competitor stays up unless it breaks LinkedIn's rules, because deleting it is visible and costs more than the comment did. Measurement, and what it cannot tell you: A text post without a link has no click path. We read it through LinkedIn-attributed conversions on the profile's follow-on traffic, a self-reported source field on your enquiry form, and the CRM record of who in the buying group had already seen the person before the first call. If your board wants a last-click number for this, we are the wrong firm and you should not buy it. Key-person risk: Everything here is built on an individual's profile. If they leave, the audience, the permission and the ad history leave with them. We insist on at least two participating executives and prefer that one of them is not the founder. Not included: Personal profile management, connection requests, InMail sequences, follower growth work, headshots or profile rewrites. We do not attach lead generation forms to personal posts. A form dropped into the middle of a person's opinion converts the register back into an ad, and the comments stop. Who this is wrong for: Companies where legal reviews each post on a five-day loop. Executives who want to approve a content calendar a quarter ahead. Any business whose sale closes inside a single session. The effect here shows up in how a call opens, months later, and that is not worth your money if nobody at your company is having those calls.
