Russian language recruitment media on VK and OK for German employers, measured in attended recruiter calls, never in lead form submissions.
About this service
Before targeting, payment. VK Ads invoices in roubles against a Russian legal entity, and a German employer moving money into that system needs a written opinion from its own counsel and its own bank before we open anything. We do not give that opinion and we will not begin without it in writing. Roughly one enquiry in four stops at this paragraph, which is the correct outcome for all concerned.
Where this actually works:
VK's usable reach for a DACH employer is not inside Russia. It is Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia and Belarus, where VK and Odnoklassniki still hold the daily habit of the thirty to forty five year old skilled worker: theatre nurses, welders with certification, HGV drivers, industrial electricians, care staff. That person is not on LinkedIn, does not read a German job advert, and will not fill in a careers portal built for graduates. They will watch a vertical video in Russian, filmed by somebody who already made the move, about the shift pattern, the housing and what the first three months cost them.
What we run:
VK Ads across the merged VK, Odnoklassniki and Mail inventory. Lead forms rather than site traffic, because your careers site loads badly there and the form prefills from the profile. Community membership targeting against professional and diaspora groups, which on VK is still the strongest signal available. Vertical creative in Clips. Pixel retargeting aimed specifically at people who opened the form and stopped at the German language question, because that person is interested and honest, and deserves a second message rather than being written off.
The line we do not cross in copy:
No advert we write promises a visa, a recognised qualification, or a date. Recognition for regulated professions runs through the Anerkennungsverfahren, entry runs through the routes under the Fachkräfteeinwanderungsgesetz, and neither you nor we control how long a Landesbehörde takes. Adverts implying otherwise fill your pipeline with people your recruiters will have to disappoint, and word travels through these communities faster than through any market we work in. One bad campaign closes a country for a year.
What we report:
Attended recruiter calls, not leads. A lead form on VK costs almost nothing and means almost nothing. Between form and call we build two filters: a self declared German level written with an honest description of what A2 actually sounds like on a ward, and a question about whether family relocation is part of the plan, because that answer predicts who is still in the process at month four. Our planning ceiling is a cost per attended call between sixty and one hundred and forty euros, welders at the bottom of that range, nurses at the top. Media is billed to you, not through us.
Not included:
Employer branding films. We will direct one shoot day of testimonial footage with employees you already have, which is the only footage that performs here, but we are not a production company. ATS integration beyond a webhook or a shared sheet. If your ATS cannot accept a webhook, fix that before you buy media, because the leads will rot in an inbox otherwise. German legal review of the offer itself stays on your side.
Not for you if:
You charge candidates a placement fee. We will not run that, regardless of legality in the origin country. You are a consumer brand looking to sell into Russia. You need the first hires signed this quarter, because between advert and arrival sit recognition, language and consular timelines that no media buy shortens.
Copy is written by Russian native speakers on our side, with Kazakh versions where the numbers justify it. Both languages come back to you with a German gloss so your recruiters can read what was promised.
