The script is written outward from a claim ledger, so nothing is boarded that legal will remove in week five, after the shoot has already been paid for.

About this service

About a third of this engagement happens before a camera is switched on, in a short document listing every claim the ad makes and the evidence standing behind each one. It exists because the expensive failure in direct response is never a weak edit. It is a strong edit built on a line that counsel removes in week five, after the shoot. The script is written outward from that ledger. Nothing is boarded that cannot be sourced. Structure of the film: The offer is stated before the five-second skip point on YouTube in-stream, not saved for a reveal at twenty seconds that almost nobody reaches. Proof follows the offer instead of preceding it. The mechanism, meaning how the thing actually works, is shown once and briefly, because in direct response it buys belief rather than interest. One call to action in one form of words, matching the destination page word for word. A mismatch there costs more than any framing decision made on the day. The claim ledger: Each line of copy is tagged verifiable, opinion, or removed. For education clients, outcome and employment claims are matched against your own cohort data with the sample size on screen wherever the claim is specific, because substantiation has to exist when the ad runs and cannot be assembled afterwards under a regulator's letter. For game titles, everything presented as gameplay is gameplay from a build, captured without debug or HUD overlays; rendered sequences sold as play are the shortest route to a rejected ad and, in more than one market now, to a fine. For property, the housing advertising category on Meta strips out the detailed targeting most performance teams are used to, which pushes qualification into the creative: the film has to say who the building is for inside the first eight seconds, because the targeting is no longer permitted to. Deliverables: A principal film at thirty seconds, cut-downs at fifteen and six, a square and a vertical build derived from the same source with framing re-decided rather than cropped, captions as both sidecar files and burned versions, and the alternate end cards your media team will ask for once retargeting starts. How variants are handled: Two variables at most per round, and never inside the same asset. Offer against offer, or opening against opening. A round that moves both produces a winner nobody can explain and a following round that has to begin again from zero. Not included: Media buying, account access and bid strategy. Landing page design and copy, although the exact wording of the call to action is agreed jointly and that part is not optional. Performance-based or revenue-share fees under any structure. Any claim your own counsel has already declined; the ledger is a way of building on evidence, not a route around a legal opinion, and asking for the second thing ends the engagement. Who should not book this: Anyone whose offer is not settled. Direct response amplifies an offer and cannot substitute for one, and a film shot against a price that is still being debated does not survive the second version of the price. Also anyone who needs the ad to be admired in the review meeting. This work is judged by a number after it runs, and the internal reception of a direct response film that goes on to work is frequently lukewarm.
