A branded UEFN island scoped against retention and minutes played, instrumented with named events, and built only against a real update calendar.

About this service

A branded island lives or dies on the second content beat. Epic's Discovery rows sort on retention and minutes per player, so an island that opens with forty thousand plays and then sits unchanged falls out of the rows inside two weeks and becomes reachable only by island code. Every build we take is scoped against a twelve-week update calendar before a single Verse file exists. If a brand cannot commit to three post-launch beats, we say no on the first call. How we scope: Before design, three things get settled. The reason a player already inside Fortnite would choose this island over the several hundred in front of it. The memory and device budget the concept fits inside. And the mode. The UEFN memory calculator is a ceiling, not a guideline, and a concept needing a large streamed landscape plus heavy device logic will not hold frame rate on a Switch, where a meaningful share of the audience that matters actually plays. We resolve that on paper in the concept phase rather than discovering it in week six. The build: Verse for gameplay logic and for emitting events. Custom assets where the brand's identity genuinely needs them, Fortnite library assets everywhere else, because bespoke art is the fastest way to spend the memory budget on something players do not notice. We instrument the island so the moments you care about, reaching the branded objective, completing the loop, returning on a later day, are counted as named events rather than inferred from session length. Creator Portal supplies plays, unique players, minutes and retention. The named events are ours, and the report is written from them. Review and rules: Islands carrying a brand go through Epic's content review, and the rules on real-world brand presence, likeness, external links and calls to action move. We write the submission and handle the correspondence. Where a concept touches an area Epic has been inconsistent about, we get a read before the build rather than after. How it is measured: Three numbers, agreed before we start: D1 return rate, median minutes per player per session, and completion rate on the branded loop. Plays are reported but are never the target, because plays are buyable and retention is not. At the close of each beat you get the raw Creator Portal export alongside our event data, so you can check our arithmetic rather than take it. What is not included: No paid Discovery placement or creator buyout to inflate opening concurrents. If you want that bought, buy it elsewhere and we will tell you honestly what it does and does not move. No Roblox port; different engine, different economy, different team. No item shop cosmetics, which are a commercial conversation with Epic and not a Creative one. We do not run your social channels around launch. Who this is not for: Brands who want a Fortnite island because a competitor built one. Brands whose legal position will not permit players to record, clip and monetise footage of the island, since that is the distribution and it is not optional. Anyone needing a launch inside six weeks, because Epic's review queue is not something we control. And anyone whose measure of success is press coverage. A map built to be written about is a set, not a game, and players leave sets in ninety seconds.
