We measure the reporting gap from your own server logs first, then rebuild the measurement path. Sometimes there is no gap.

About this service

The first deliverable is a number you do not currently have: what share of your paid sessions arrive and never report. We get it by reconciling server access logs against tag fires for the same window, not by accepting a blocked-rate estimate from a vendor who sells recovery. On desktop traffic from Germany, Poland and the Nordics that gap usually reads double digits. On Australian mobile it is frequently small enough to ignore, and when it is, we say so and bill the audit fee only. Measurement first, recovery second: Most of what gets sold as anti-adblock work is a way to keep serving impressions. For an advertiser the larger loss sits upstream. Bid decisions and acquisition costs are being computed on a sample that systematically excludes your most technical users, who in gaming and developer-facing products are the buyers. So the measurement path gets rebuilt first: server-side GTM on a subdomain you control, event_id deduplication into Meta CAPI, Google Ads enhanced conversions and the TikTok Events API, with conversions written from your backend rather than from the browser. What we will tell you about CNAME: It is not durable. uBlock Origin uncloaks CNAMEs, Safari caps script-written cookies from CNAMEd hosts at seven days, and Firefox ships the same uncloaking. We will stand one up where your stack needs a bridge, with a written expiry date attached to it. Anyone selling CNAME as a solved problem is selling you a maintenance contract with a nicer name. Buying recovered inventory: Recovery supply through Admiral and Blockthrough is real, and it is a different audience from the same publisher's unblocked inventory. That visitor agreed to a message in exchange for access, and they behave closer to a newsletter subscriber than to a display impression. It is priced accordingly. We cap it near fifteen percent of the display line, because supply is thin enough that pushing scale moves the price past what it returns. What we will not build: Anything that circumvents a consent refusal. If a user declines under GDPR or under the Australian Privacy Act, that decision is honoured server-side as well. Moving a tag does not move the legal basis, and a consultant who describes server-side tagging as a consent workaround is describing an enforcement action. No fingerprint-based re-identification of opted-out users. No DOM re-injection of blocked creatives on your own properties, which breaks on the next filter list update and costs you the Acceptable Ads listing on the way. And we will not sign off a deployment your own privacy counsel has not seen. The order of work: Week one is the log reconciliation and the number. Week two is a written decision on whether the gap is worth closing, which is sometimes no. If it is yes, weeks three to six are the server-side build, the deduplication and a parallel-run period where old and new measurement report side by side so you can see the delta rather than take it on faith. Nothing gets switched off until the parallel run agrees with itself. Who this is not for: Advertisers whose traffic is majority mobile app or majority Australian mobile web. The recoverable gap there tends to sit under five percent and this will not pay for itself; tell us that in the enquiry and we will tell you not to buy it. Publishers are also out of scope. Recovering blocked ad revenue on your own inventory is a different discipline with its own specialists, and we are on the advertiser's side of the table.

What the seller needs from you

  1. 1Can you supply raw server or CDN access logs for a two-week window?
  2. 2What is your desktop traffic share, broken out by country?
  3. 3Who owns your tag deployment, and is there privacy counsel or a DPO who signs off?
  4. 4Which conversion APIs are already live, and are they deduplicating on event_id?

Asked at checkout. Delivery time starts once you answer, not when you pay.
