Managed programmatic audio in DV360, The Trade Desk and Amazon DSP: named publisher deals only, one frequency cap, no click metric in the report.

About this service

Buy programmatic audio through a DSP for one frequency cap across publishers and for matching your own first-party audience. Do not buy it for a cheaper CPM. Private marketplace audio in the UK and US clears in the mid-teens in euros, the open exchange will quote a third of that, and in the log-level data we pull back a large share of the cheap end arrives from supply we cannot tie to a listening session at all. We buy the expensive inventory deliberately and we can show you why. Where the money goes: Deals in DV360, The Trade Desk and Amazon DSP against Spotify's exchange, Triton Digital's a2x, AdsWizz supply, SoundCloud, Acast and the broadcaster streams that expose programmatic pods. Every line is a private marketplace or programmatic guaranteed deal with a named publisher, a declared pod position and a stated pod length. Open exchange run-of-network audio is switched off at seat level, not managed with an inclusion list that quietly drifts open again over a quarter. Supply we block: In-game audio where the spot plays into a muted session. The impression fires whether or not the device is producing sound, and the publisher cannot tell you which happened. Sellers whose bid requests arrive with no listener identifier, no session duration and a rotating address block. Reseller paths that add a hop to inventory the publisher already sells direct. We buy on sellers.json direct paths, re-walk the chain each quarter, and hand you the list of what we cut and what it cost in reach. Setup: VAST 4.x audio responses with the ad server macros populated. DAAST has been retired for years, and a legacy DAAST tag failing silently on a modern SSP is still the most common inherited problem we find. Because insertion is server-side, the impression is counted at stitch time, so we reconcile publisher-side delivery against DSP-side delivery weekly and chase the gap when it opens past a few points. Loudness is normalised before trafficking. A spot delivered hot gets skipped, and on platforms with a skip control that shows up in completion within days. Frequency and identity: The whole argument for the DSP is one cap across every publisher. We set it against a hashed first-party match where you have one, and against the publisher's own listener ID where you do not. We accept the reach loss that comes with declining to model an identity we cannot verify, and we would rather report a smaller honest reach figure than a larger modelled one. Reporting: Completion rate by publisher, by pod position and by creative. Delivery reconciliation. A lift read, using a geo holdout where the footprint allows one and a conversion-lag model against a matched pre-period where it does not. No click metric appears anywhere in our reporting, because the click in audio belongs to a companion banner and belongs in a display report. Not for: Advertisers who need audio to hit a CPA target inside the platform's own attribution window. Anyone whose success measure is a CPM under the market. Brands with one 30-second spot and no intention of producing a second, since the advantage of programmatic over a direct broadcaster buy is largely rotation and cap control, and a single asset forfeits both. We also decline first flights under 20,000 euros of monthly working media. The frequency cap has nothing to control at that weight, and a direct buy will serve you better for less of our fee.

What the seller needs from you

  1. 1Do you have a DSP seat, and which one?
  2. 2Can you release log-level data from your current audio spend?
  3. 3What is the monthly working media, and is any of it in a self-serve platform?
  4. 4How many audio assets do you hold, and in which lengths?
  5. 5Which markets, and what conversion endpoint should the lift read use?

Asked at checkout. Delivery time starts once you answer, not when you pay.
