Server architecture, anti-impersonation configuration and ninety days of moderation for finance and crypto launches. Member count is not a metric we sell.

About this service

The first thing that arrives in a finance server after a launch announcement is not questions. It is impersonation: accounts carrying your admin's display name and avatar, sliding into member DMs offering to fix a wallet issue. We configure against that on day one, before the invite link exists anywhere public, because a member who gets drained inside your server tells that story for as long as your product exists. A server we hand over ships with verification set so new accounts cannot post on arrival, Discord's AutoMod raid and mention limits on, member DMs discouraged and closed in the onboarding prompt, a pinned standing rule that no admin will ever message first, and support running through a ticket flow visible to the whole mod team rather than in private. The launch sequence: Weeks one and two are structure. Discord Onboarding with a real question set, so a new member lands in three or four channels matching what they came for instead of a wall of forty. Forum channels for anything that should still be answerable in six months, plain channels for the parts that should scroll away. A moderation rota written down with names and hours, including who is awake at 03:00 CET when your Asian members are trading. Weeks three and four are the soft open: existing customers and a short invite list, no announcement anywhere. This is where the rules get their first real test, and where we usually find that the question everybody asks was not on your FAQ. Weeks five to twelve are operating. Office hours with a named engineer or a named licensing person, a weekly digest, and escalation into your real support desk with a logged handoff at the boundary. What we measure: Retention from Server Insights, specifically whether members who joined in a given week are still speaking in week four. Time from question to first useful answer in the channels where that matters. Share of questions answered by other members rather than by staff, which is the only honest reading of whether a community exists yet or whether you have built a help desk with a Discord skin. Not member count. Member count is purchasable and everyone in your market knows the going rate. Regulatory position: MiCA has applied in full across the EU since 30 December 2024, and a message from an admin account promoting a service is a marketing communication whether or not it reads like one. We write the disclosure standard into the moderator handbook, keep an exportable log of every announcement, and hold a hard line where staff answer nothing that amounts to individual investment advice. They route it, in public, to the function licensed to answer it. We refuse: Growth by airdrop, giveaway, invite contest or XP leaderboard. It buys farmers, most leave, and the ones who stay make the remaining signal unreadable. Bots that manufacture activity. A quiet server is information you need. A fake-busy server destroys it. Launching a server for a product with no reason to have one. If your users share no ongoing problem, a server is a support queue with worse tooling and public failure, and we will recommend a support queue. Moderating for you indefinitely. We staff the first ninety days and train your people. After that we advise. If you have not hired a moderator by month four, we will not extend to cover the vacancy. Not for you if: You need the server live in three weeks for a listing date. Servers assembled to a listing date get raided on the day they matter. Your legal team will not accept a durable public archive of what admins said. That archive is the point of doing this properly. Nobody senior is willing to appear in it under their own name.

What the seller needs from you

  1. 1What will members discuss with each other, not with your support team?
  2. 2What is the launch or listing date, and is it movable?
  3. 3Which named staff will hold admin roles and appear in office hours?
  4. 4Which regulator and licence do you operate under, and who signs off announcements?
  5. 5If a server already exists, send an invite with read access to the mod log.

Asked at checkout. Delivery time starts once you answer, not when you pay.
