Thirty-minute response in Dutch office hours, statement libraries built before the incident, and the first hour spent establishing facts rather than drafting.

About this service

We answer inside thirty minutes between 08:00 and 20:00 CET and inside two hours overnight, and the first hour of any incident goes to establishing what is true rather than to drafting. Most of the damage we are called in to repair was done in that hour, by someone issuing a denial the facts later contradicted. A correction costs more coverage than the original story did. Before anything happens: The work that decides the outcome is done in quiet weeks. We build a statement library covering the four or five things that can genuinely go wrong in your business. For a producer that is allergen mislabelling and supplier contamination. For a tour operator, an incident involving a guest and a supplier insolvency mid-season. For a studio, a data breach, a harassment allegation, and a monetisation change the community reads as betrayal. Each carries a holding statement, a named spokesperson, a second in case the first is the subject, and a dark page sitting unpublished on your own domain so you are not publishing to a platform you do not control. The first day: One spokesperson, one channel, one version. We draft the holding line within the hour and tell you which regulator clock is already running. For food that is NVWA notification and the RASFF entry, which is a legal duty with its own deadline and not a communications decision. We brief ANP when the story is going to the wire regardless, on the reasoning that the first version filed is the one every regional title copies. For a community incident we work inside the channels where it is happening, in Steam discussions, on Discord, in the subreddit, alongside your own moderators rather than around them. What we will tell you that your board will not enjoy: Sometimes the right move is to publish the bad number yourself, on a Tuesday morning, with the remedy already in place. Sometimes it is to say nothing for forty-eight hours while the facts settle. And sometimes there is no communications problem at all: when a journalist has documents and the documents are accurate, the work is fixing the thing and telling them what you fixed. We say that plainly on the first call, and it is the most useful thing we sell. Not included: We do not place reviews, remove reviews, or organise supportive posting that is not what it appears to be. We do not commission content to push a result down the first page. We will file a delisting request under Article 17 where a page is factually wrong about a named person, and we will tell you in the same breath that most such requests are refused. Legal strategy belongs to your counsel. We work alongside them and we will not send a statement your lawyer has not read. We resign if: You give us a fact that proves false after we have put it in front of a journalist. That is a single-strike rule, it sits in the engagement letter, and it exists because our standing with those newsrooms is the entire reason we are useful to the next client. Who this is not for: Companies buying a retainer as insurance without doing the preparation. If the statement library, the spokesperson training and the dark page never get finished, a standing arrangement buys you a phone number and very little else, and you should keep the money until you are ready to spend the two days it takes. Languages: we handle Dutch and English press directly. Anything else we brief and hand to a local firm rather than pretending.

What the seller needs from you

  1. 1What are the four or five things that could realistically go wrong here?
  2. 2Who is the spokesperson, and who takes over if that person is the subject?
  3. 3Which regulators can compel you to notify, and on what clock?
  4. 4Is anything currently unresolved that a journalist could already have?
  5. 5Where does your community actually live?

Asked at checkout. Delivery time starts once you answer, not when you pay.
