Big Billion Days and the other event weeks decide the year; we plan from locked price, stock cover in days and F-Assured status, then execute the bidding.

About this service

About twenty trading days decide a Flipkart year. Big Billion Days, Big Saving Days, Republic Day and the Freedom sale carry most of what a category will do, and the ad account is the least interesting variable in any of them. What decides them is the price you locked with your category manager six weeks out, the depth of stock sitting in Flipkart Fulfilment measured in days of cover rather than units, and whether your FSNs carry F-Assured going in. We plan backwards from those three and treat bidding as execution. The six weeks before an event: Price lock first, because every downstream number depends on it and it is the one thing that cannot be changed on the day. Then cover, computed in days at forecast run rate rather than in units, per FSN, with the slowest replenishment lane treated as the constraint. Then badge status, because an FSN entering an event without F-Assured is buying clicks into a page competing against badged listings on the same query. Only then the budget stage: contextual placements building wishlist adds through the pre-event window, listing ads defending position on event days. Event days: Hourly review against pre-agreed ceilings, and one rule written into every engagement: we pull spend on any FSN falling below 48 hours of cover at the running rate, immediately, without calling you first. Selling out at hour nine of a four-day event and continuing to bid is the most expensive mistake we see in inherited accounts, and it is always defended afterwards as momentum. The rest of the year: Defence rather than growth. Manual campaigns hold position on FSNs that earn it; SmartROI campaigns run only where volume justifies handing over the bid. Contextual placements on competitor FSN pages get a fixed monthly ceiling and are read on incremental revenue rather than attributed ROAS, because a competitor page click is exactly where console attribution flatters hardest. How we report the event: Net of the discount you funded and net of returns. The console shows a ROAS that ignores both. Once event funding and RTO are subtracted, the real figure is often close to half the reported one, and every event plan we write includes the breakeven discount depth at which the event stops being worth entering. Some categories cross that line every year and keep entering anyway. What is not included: We do not negotiate with your Flipkart category manager. Terms, event slotting and funding splits are commercial conversations about your margin, and you should hold them yourself. No seller onboarding, GST registration or entity setup. No Hindi or regional-language creative; we specify what a listing needs and a local writer executes. No RTO reduction consulting, though we will show you when returns are eating the return on the whole event and where. No warehouse or inbound planning, though our cover model tells you what has to arrive and by when. Who this is not for: Sellers not in Flipkart Fulfilment. Self-ship changes the badge, the delivery promise and the conversion rate, and advertising into that gap is expensive. Also not for brands wanting a flat monthly spend spread evenly across twelve months. That budget shape is borrowed from search advertising, and on this platform it means underspending during the weeks that matter and overspending in the eleven months that do not. If flat monthly is a policy you cannot change, the plan we would write is one you would not be allowed to run.
