Sampling, embargoes and desk access that get your product into publisher tests and roundups honestly. We never pay for inclusion or touch a verdict.
About this service
No desk worth appearing in sells a place in its test, at any price, and the ones that will sell you one are not read by your buyers. What can be arranged around the test is everything else: the review unit and its shipping, the embargo date, the substantiation a tester will ask for, and the affiliate terms. Most Nordic commerce roundups already monetise through Adtraction, Adservice, Awin or Partner-ads, so a commercial relationship with the publisher usually exists before we arrive. It simply is not the relationship that decides the verdict, and treating it as though it were is how brands get quietly blacklisted by a desk.
Where the work happens:
Commerce and test desks inside Bonnier News and Schibsted titles, Amedia's regional group, Alma Talent's trade press, and the category sites that are actually read in pets, home and marketplace comparison. The people who matter are the desk editor and the freelance tester, not the sales house. An editorial-adjacent package sold by a commercial team that the desk has never been shown is worth nothing, and we will tell you that when you forward it to us.
What a seeding programme is made of:
A spec sheet written for a tester rather than a buyer, which means the failure modes are named in it. Units in stock with three weeks of lead on the roundup's own cycle, because Q4 gift guides in the Nordics close in August and a brand arriving in October is arriving next year. Shipping, customs and returns handled by us so nothing sits in a DHL depot while a deadline passes. An embargo with a date rather than a request. And a named person on your side who answers a tester's question inside a working day, because a tester with an unanswered question writes the sentence you do not want.
Claims discipline, pets in particular:
Regulation 767/2009 governs what may be said about a feed on a page carrying a publisher's masthead, and functional claims now get asked about. We assemble the substantiation file before units ship, or the units do not ship. A tester who requests evidence and receives marketing copy stops replying, and that door does not reopen for the next product either.
What we refuse:
We do not pay for inclusion in a test, in any wrapper, including the ones described as production contributions. We do not write, edit or review any part of a review. We do not ask for a negative verdict to be softened, a paragraph cut or a link pulled, and if you ask us to, the engagement ends. We take no commission from any affiliate network on placements we secured. And we do not accept exclusivity from a desk in exchange for anything, because that is the same purchase with better manners.
Who this is not for:
Products with no shippable unit. Brands that need a placement landing on a fixed date around a funding round or a trade show, since editorial cycles do not move for either. And products that lose an honest test. We will tell you which tests you lose in the first two weeks, and we would rather forfeit the fee than send units into a comparison you cannot win.
What you receive:
A desk map naming editors, testers and publication cycles per market. The tester-facing spec sheet and the substantiation file. Seeding logistics run for the period, with a log of every unit sent and every outcome including refusals and silence. The affiliate terms you have been offered, read against what those desks normally take. And an honest list of the roundups you should not be in yet, with what would have to change first.
