Snapchat buying for brands whose customer is genuinely under 35, with server-side events, honest attribution windows and a stated stopping point.

About this service

The first useful thing we can tell you about Snapchat is whether your buyer is on it. The audience concentrates below 35, and in the last two years we have declined three Snapchat engagements at the scoping call because the client's median customer was in their forties and the channel would have delivered reach to people who never buy. That conversation costs nothing and saves a quarter of spend. The second thing: Snap's default reporting window flatters itself. A 28-day swipe and 1-day view setting will credit the channel with revenue your finance team already attributed elsewhere. We report on a 7-day swipe, 1-day view basis as standard, publish the difference between that and Snap's default, and reconcile both against your own order or install data each month. Clients occasionally dislike the smaller number. It is the one we defend. The account work: Snap Pixel and the Conversions API running together, deduplicated so a single purchase is not counted twice, with parameter coverage checked against real orders rather than the events manager's green ticks. Product catalogue connected for dynamic ads where you sell physical goods. For apps, SKAdNetwork and Aggregated Events configured with the conversion values ordered by revenue rather than by funnel step, because the postback carries one value and it should carry the one that matters. Creative: Snapchat rejects assets that look bought. We brief for the format's own grammar: sound-on, filmed vertically rather than cropped, the offer legible in the first second, and a swipe destination that matches what the frame promised. Three to four distinct propositions in rotation, replaced when performance decays rather than on a content calendar. Augmented reality: We build a sponsored Lens only when there is a downstream event to measure and a reason a person would open it twice. A Lens commissioned as brand theatre produces a screenshot for the marketing deck and nothing on the sales line. When you want one anyway, we will say what it will and will not do, then build it through Lens Studio with a measurable exit. Regulated categories: For gambling operators, Snap requires certification and market-level restriction, and permitted markets are narrower than most media plans assume. We handle the certification process and the geo and age controls, and we decline markets where the licence does not cover the traffic. This is the part of the work most likely to end an engagement before it starts, and we prefer that outcome to a suspended account. What we refuse: We do not run Snapchat as an incremental reach line beside Meta with shared creative. It is a different reading posture and shared assets underperform in both places. We do not present view-through conversions as sales. We do not continue a channel that has failed a holdout twice; we will recommend closing it and we will not invoice for managing something we have advised you to stop. Not included: Original video production, talent booking and music licensing. Community management of your Public Profile. Creator partnerships, which we treat as a separate discipline with separate contracts. How it runs: One senior person owns the account and joins your growth review, in French or English. Media sits on your billing in your ads account. We hold a stopping rule agreed in writing at kickoff: the spend level, the window, and the result below which we recommend closing the channel. Most agencies do not write that down. It is the clearest signal we can give you that the recommendation is not a function of the retainer.
