Payback, throughput and pricing calculators that show the number before asking for an email, and write every answer into your CRM as named fields.

About this service

Build a calculator when your sales engineers already do the arithmetic on the call. If twenty minutes of every discovery call goes to working out payback period on a line upgrade, throughput at a given speed, or cost per seat at four hundred users, that computation belongs on the page and it will change who books. If nobody on your side does that maths for buyers, you want a short qualification quiz instead, or you want neither, and we will tell you which on the first call. The result comes before the email: Gating the number behind a form is the most common way these tools fail. A reader who has answered seven questions and then meets a wall has been asked to pay twice for the same thing, and the addresses that come back from a wall are largely disposable. We show the number, then offer to send the working, the assumptions and a document the buyer can forward to whoever signs. The people who hand over an address after seeing their result are the people whose result mattered to them. Question design: Five to nine questions, and each one has to change the answer or change the routing. A question that does neither exists to fill a CRM field, and those move to the results step where they are optional. We map drop-off per question before launch and cut the weakest one after two weeks of live data rather than defending the set we shipped with. Assumptions are the deliverable: An output is worth exactly what its inputs are worth. Every assumption sits on the page with its source and stays editable by the reader — energy price, utilisation, discount rate, loaded labour cost, churn. A finance director who cannot interrogate a number ignores it, and your champion loses the internal argument holding a figure they cannot explain. We would rather publish a defensible payback of four years than an indefensible one of fourteen months. How it is wired: Inputs encoded in the URL, so a result is a link the buyer forwards to their CFO and a rep opens before the call. Proprietary formulas computed server-side when the formula is the intellectual property. Answers written to the CRM as named fields rather than a single score, so the rep sees what the buyer said instead of a letter grade. A results view your sales team reads without training. Where inputs come from a small known set, static result pages that can be indexed and linked to. What we will not build: A quiz that sorts people into personality types and calls the sorting a lead. Scoring that flatters every respondent so nobody ever sees a poor fit — the disqualifying result is what earns the tool its keep, because it removes calls your team should not be taking. A calculator whose numbers your own finance team will not defend in front of a customer. And we will not build it at all if the honest answer is that your product does not pay back for the segment you want to point at it. What you receive: The logic documented as a spreadsheet you own and can change without us. The built tool, live on your site. CRM wiring tested with live submissions. A read of question-level drop-off at 30 days, with a recommendation on which question to cut. Not for you if: You want a consumer quiz with a share button. Your product is bought on preference rather than arithmetic. You are unwilling to publish the assumptions, in which case the tool will be ignored by exactly the person it needs to convince.

What the seller needs from you

  1. 1What does your sales team calculate on calls today, and how long does it take?
  2. 2Which assumptions are you willing to publish on the page?
  3. 3Which CRM receives the answers, and who can create the fields?
  4. 4Who is the reader — the operator, the buyer, or the person who signs?
  5. 5What should happen when the answer is that your product is not a fit?

Asked at checkout. Delivery time starts once you answer, not when you pay.
