Native and Content Advertising · Native traffic arbitrage setup

Native accounts on Taboola and Outbrain built with server-side tracking and written cut rules, then run until the site-level data can be trusted.

About this service

A traffic source needs roughly 100 conversions behind it before a cut-or-keep decision means anything. Most native accounts are killed or scaled at fifteen. This engagement builds the account and the measurement so that the first blocklist you act on is evidence, and runs the buying until that threshold exists on the sources that matter. What the first weeks buy: Accounts opened and warmed on Taboola Ads and Outbrain, with Zemanta where the buy needs DSP-side frequency control. Campaign structure split by operating system before anything else, because Android and iOS behave differently enough on native inventory that a blended CPA hides which one is paying. Server-side conversion passback wired with click IDs through RedTrack or Voluum, on your licence rather than mine. Platform pixels stay installed as a cross-check, never as the decision surface; the discrepancy between pixel and postback is itself a signal and gets reported weekly instead of reconciled away. The rules that get written down: A bid rule and a kill rule per campaign, expressed in your numbers: the CPA ceiling, the spend a site ID gets before review, the section-level modifiers, the review cadence. Blocklists start seeded against known made-for-advertising domains and grow from your own data. Creative is produced in sets of six headlines against two images, because the headline carries most of the click-through variance on this inventory and testing one element at a time spends the learning budget on the wrong question. What I will not build: Arbitrage in the sense the term usually carries — buying a click at nine cents and monetising it against refreshed display on a page nobody reads. I decline accounts whose revenue event is another ad impression. Nor will I write curiosity-gap creative, use a stock face implying a person who does not exist, run a page the network reviewer was never shown, or place a countdown that resets. These are commercial positions as much as ethical ones: accounts built that way get restricted, and the restriction lands on the advertiser's domain, not the buyer's. Where this sits in travel, logistics and nonprofit: Travel is bought against a booking or a qualified enquiry, never against a brochure download. Logistics almost never converts inside the click window, so the buy is set against a tracked enquiry carrying a lead ID that survives into the CRM, and the target is calibrated to the sales team's own close rate. Nonprofit is bought against a first donation with recurring value held out of the target, because optimising a native account on lifetime value you have not yet collected is how fundraising budgets get spent twice. What you own at the end: Your ad accounts, your tracker licence, your creative files, and a written buying document containing the decision rules and the blocklists. Nothing sits inside a tool only I can open. If you take the account in-house, there is no extraction step and no export to request. Who should not book this: Anyone whose only conversion signal arrives more than ninety days after the click with nothing measurable in between. Anyone who cannot or will not implement a server-to-server postback; client-side attribution on native traffic is unreliable enough that I will not stake a buying decision on it. And anyone who wants the account handed over in two weeks with a CPA promise attached. The sample threshold above does not compress, and I would rather lose the engagement than agree to a number I would have to defend with the wrong data.
