Placement adaptation treated as recomposition, not scaling: safe zones respected, hierarchy re-decided per format, trafficking sheet included.

About this service

A 16:9 master scaled into 9:16 loses about a third of its usable area before anyone sees it. On Reels and Stories the band under the profile row at the top and the caption, CTA and navigation at the bottom take roughly 14 percent and 20 percent of the canvas respectively, and TikTok claims a column down the right side for its icons. Anything you place there is decoration behind an interface. That is why mechanical resizing produces work that passes internal review and fails in the feed: the layout was judged on a desktop where none of the platform furniture exists. So each format gets its hierarchy decided again from scratch. In 9:16 the product usually has to leave the frame and the claim takes it, because a pack shot rendered at thumbnail scale communicates nothing and a five-word statement does. In 300x250 the logo is often the first thing to cut. In 970x250 there is room for a sequence rather than a single state. Those are three different judgements about the same campaign, and the reason this is not a resizing rate card. The formats that come back: 1:1 at 1080, 4:5 at 1080x1350, 9:16 at 1080x1920 with the safe zones marked in the source file so your team can see what they are working inside. 16:9 for in-stream and YouTube. Standard display at 300x250, 300x600, 336x280, 728x90, 160x600, 320x50 and 970x250, static or HTML5. Minimum type size in a 1080-wide export is 40 pixels for anything that must be read at arm's length on a phone; copy that will not fit at that size gets rewritten shorter rather than set smaller, and I will come back to you with the shorter line rather than shrinking it quietly. How it is built: Stills through Figma with component variants and auto layout, or InDesign and Illustrator artboards where the master lives there. Motion through After Effects with an Essential Graphics setup, so your team re-times a cutdown or swaps an end card without a round trip. HTML5 display in Google Web Designer, polite-loaded and inside the publisher's initial load limit. Every file leaves under a naming convention agreed with whoever reads your reporting, so nobody renames anything before it reaches a spreadsheet, and display ships with a filled trafficking sheet for Campaign Manager 360 rather than a folder and an email. What you will not get from me: New concepts. This engagement starts from an approved master and adapts it, and if the master is not working, adapting it into fourteen formats multiplies the problem. Retouching and image compositing beyond what a format change forces. Print and out-of-home mechanicals. Media buying or trafficking into your account: I supply the sheet, your team or your agency uploads. Copywriting beyond shortening a line to fit, and any shortening comes back to you for approval before it ships. In regulated categories the mandatory text travels with the asset, at a size that survives the format rather than at the smallest size the layout allows. If a health or legal disclaimer cannot be read in 320x50, that placement does not get built and I will tell you why before we agree the format list. This is the wrong engagement if: You want files produced at a per-size rate, which is a real service and several good studios sell it. Or your master exists only as a flattened JPEG or a PDF, in which case somebody is rebuilding it and that should be priced as rebuilding. Or the format list is being written by a media plan that nobody has questioned. I would rather cut it to the placements you actually fund.

What the seller needs from you

  1. 1Which placements are actually funded in this flight?
  2. 2Where do the layered master files, fonts and licensed images live?
  3. 3Who traffics the display, and against which naming convention?
  4. 4Is there mandatory text or a disclaimer that must appear in every format?
