Social Media Advertising · Reddit Ads campaign build and subreddit targeting

We buy named subreddits instead of Reddit's interest boxes, and cut any community that takes 1,200 euro of spend without a purchase behind it.

About this service

Reddit's interest categories fold something like a hundred thousand active communities into a few dozen boxes, and the boxes are where most Reddit budgets quietly go. We buy named subreddits. The campaign ships with a list one of us assembled by reading the communities for a fortnight, and any community on that list is cut once it has taken 1,200 euro of spend without a purchase attributed to it. That single rule accounts for most of the difference between a Reddit account that works and one that merely looks tidy in Ads Manager. How the account is structured: Ad groups are split by community cluster, never by creative, so the kill rule above has something to act on. A skincare account might run one group across the routine-building subs, one across the ingredient-argument subs, one across the deal subs, and the three behave nothing alike on identical creative. Free-form text posts carry most of the spend, because that is the format that sits in the feed the way a post sits in the feed. Image and video groups exist to give the text posts a control, not because Reddit rewards production value. Comments stay on. This is not a preference. A promoted post with comments disabled announces itself as an ad in a place where that is the one unforgivable signal, and the reply thread is the only free research you will get about your own positioning. Measurement: Reddit Pixel plus Conversions API through a server-side container, because in-app browser traffic and Safari make the browser pixel alone under-report by a margin wide enough to end campaigns that were working. Reddit's default seven-day click, one-day view window is reported alongside your own order data and a geo holdout where budget allows. When the two disagree we report the lower number and say why. Bidding starts on manual CPC and moves to conversion-optimised bidding only once the pixel has seen enough conversions in a rolling week to be worth trusting. Creative: Written by whoever read the subs, in their own register, with the brand named in the first line rather than saved for a reveal. We do not write in borrowed Reddit vernacular. Nothing performs worse than an agency imitating the accent of a room it has never been in, and the comment section will say so in public, under your post, with your budget still running. Not included: Organic account building, karma accumulation, or posting on the brand's behalf in unpaid threads. Moderation and staffing of the comment threads under your ads, which is separate work and priced separately. Landing page or checkout changes, though we will tell you plainly when the page is the reason the account is failing and decline to keep spending against it. Who this is not for: Brands whose claims cannot survive a public reply. If legal cannot approve an answer to "does this actually do anything" inside a working day, Reddit is the wrong room and we will say so on the first call. Anyone spending under roughly eight thousand euro a month on Reddit media, where subreddit-level data never becomes readable. And anyone who needs a return inside fourteen days: the first fortnight buys you a map of which communities tolerate you, which is worth having and is not revenue. Working languages are English and Ukrainian. We hold the ad account or work inside yours, either is fine, but it needs a single named owner on your side who can approve creative without convening a committee.

What the seller needs from you

  1. 1Which subreddits already discuss your brand or category, favourably or otherwise?
  2. 2Who on your side can approve creative and clear a product claim within one working day?
  3. 3Can we get read access to your order data or analytics for reconciliation?
  4. 4What is your monthly Reddit media budget, separate from our fee?
  5. 5Are there claims, categories or competitor comparisons we must not make?

Asked at checkout. Delivery time starts once you answer, not when you pay.
