Every placement opened, screenshotted and classified from the target country before it is bought, with the evidence pack handed to your counsel.
About this service
Category labels on this inventory are close to worthless. Open the pages behind a network-supplied zone list one by one and a large share of them are not the page type they were sold as, and some are pages we will not put a client on at any price. So we open them. Every placement that ends up on a Blackford list here has been loaded by a person from the target country, screenshotted, classified and dated, and you get the screenshots.
The review, concretely:
The placement is loaded in a clean profile from the target geo, captured full-page, and recorded against a template: search or directory results, a comments page, a subtitle or metadata page, a download-manager interstitial, or a playback page. We log the creatives running alongside, and flag the neighbours that decide whether this is buyable at all, fake update prompts, forced downloads, browser lockers and tech-support pages. Two zones on the same domain with different templates are two separate entries, because quality on this inventory tracks the template far more than it tracks the domain. Anything running a forced click, an auto-redirect or a script-triggered download is dropped on sight and the source gets a note in the file.
Where our line sits:
We do not place a client on a page that hosts infringing playback or serves infringing files directly. We buy the surrounding surfaces where a client's own counsel is comfortable with them, and the point of the screenshot pack is that their counsel makes that decision on evidence rather than on our reassurance. Some briefs end there, and that is a fine outcome. What we will not do is present a list as reviewed when it was filtered on the network's category ID.
Fixtures and flights:
Sports and event aggregator traffic is spiky in a way the rest of this inventory is not. We plan flights against the fixture calendar, buy per event, and stop the buy before the final whistle, because the audience that stays on the page afterwards is a different audience and it converts like one. Off-calendar, budget runs flat with frequency capped rather than chasing hourly volume.
Measurement:
Server-side postback, short click window, no view-through. Bot filtering runs before attribution rather than after, so the placement report is not quietly ranking the zones with the best-behaved bots. Reports name the placement, the template, the review date and the spend, in that order, so you can hand a page to legal without translating anything first.
Not included:
Creative, landers and offer economics. Media planning for the client's other channels. We do not act as a reseller and we do not mark up media; you see the network invoices.
Who this is not for:
Regulated advertisers. Licensed financial services, prescription pharma, and anything touching gambling regulation in Mexico or Brazil should not be here, and we turn those briefs away rather than filtering harder. Brands whose audience is children or families, where a single adjacency screenshot on social costs more than the channel will ever earn. Advertisers whose own product is pirated in the same category, which is a conflict we have declined twice and will decline again. And anyone who wants the reviewed placement list without paying for the review, which is most of the value here and takes most of the hours.
